About the training program
The aim of the history of philosophy specialization is to train professional scholars and teachers who not only have an excellent command of their subject and inspire interest in the philosophical heritage, but are also able to actualize and bring to life the intellectual experience of the past in the context of contemporary worldview needs and apply it to solving theoretical problems in the natural sciences and humanities. The priority research areas of the history of philosophy specialization include: the disciplinary boundaries of the history of philosophy as a form of scientific and theoretical knowledge; the specific character, nature, and purpose of philosophy as manifested in its diverse historical forms; the history of world philosophy, and more.
