About the training program

Nanostructured composites are strong and lightweight structural materials of a new generation. They are used in aviation, energy, construction, automotive engineering, and the production of consumer goods. The program is designed to train specialists in technologies for creating composite materials and nanosystems with various functional purposes. Students study disciplines in chemical technologies, materials science, and solid-state physics.

What will they teach you?

  • Определение размерных характеристик наноструктурированных композиционных материалов
  • Получение и свойства материалов электродов
  • Аттестация электрохимических устройств

What do graduates do?

The department’s experience shows that, thanks to training in various competencies in the fields of chemical technology, materials science, and solid-state physics, students gain broader employment opportunities. Such professionals are in demand at enterprises of ROSATOM and Rostec, research organizations of the Russian Academy of Sciences, research and production enterprises, and other commercial entities, including the Institute of Solid State Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IFTT RAS), the Institute of Crystallography of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IK RAS), the Institute of Problems of Technology and Microelectronics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IPTM RAS), the A. M. Prokhorov Institute of General Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IOF RAS), Skolkovo University, the Graphite Research Institute, Kompozit OJSC, and medical organizations engaged in development.
