About the training program

This program teaches students how to work with genetics and bioinformatics in agriculture. Students learn to analyze genomic data, develop breeding programs, apply biotechnology methods, and use digital tools—including artificial intelligence. Great emphasis is placed on practical skills: students learn to handle laboratory equipment, work with databases, and study nutrigenomics, the animal microbiome, and other specialized topics. They also complete various types of practical training, from research to teaching.

What do graduates do?

Graduates find employment in a wide range of settings: research laboratories and biotechnology companies, breeding farms and veterinary centers, universities and consulting services. They may conduct genetic research, monitor the health and productivity of herds, develop tests and data analysis programs, teach, provide advice on breeding, or participate in international projects aimed at preserving animal genetic resources.
