About the training program
The program prepares specialists to study and forecast processes in the atmosphere, hydrosphere (land and ocean), with a focus on climatology, meteorology, hydrology, and environmental monitoring, combining fundamental sciences (physics, mathematics, computer science) with practical applications for weather forecasting, climate change analysis, and water resource management.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work as meteorologists, hydrologists, climatologists, environmental monitoring specialists, as well as engineers at hydrometeorological stations, research institutes, design institutes (transport, mining, energy), agricultural enterprises, and environmental services, where their knowledge in weather forecasting, water resource assessment, and environmental safety is in demand.
