About the training program
The program enables students to learn how to grow and care for plants in open and protected ground, preserving their ornamental characteristics for the aesthetic landscaping of areas and the creation of beautiful compositions. During their studies, students master propagation, plant care, pruning, and floral arrangement techniques. They study specialized subjects such as open- and protected-ground floriculture, ikebana and floristry, lawn design, and arboriculture.
What do graduates do?
Our graduates are in high demand at Russia’s largest leading plant nurseries (PDK Yuzhny, R.V. Kharchenko Flower Company, and the Nivaki, Rozhdestvenno, Saltikovo, Vashutino, Verger, RusRoza and other nurseries), research institutions and botanical gardens—including the Main Botanical Garden named after N.V. Tsitsin of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Sochi Arboretum and the Nikitsky Botanical Garden—as well as at Spartak and RZD Arena stadiums and the Skolkovo and Pirogovo golf clubs.
