About the training program
The program teaches students to understand soils and manage land resources effectively. They learn how to assess soil fertility using laboratory analyses and modern remote-sensing methods, such as satellite data. Students also learn to select and evaluate agrotechnologies that promote more efficient land use, as well as study legal matters: how to properly manage soils and land, monitor their use, and ensure their protection.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work as managers and specialists at agricultural enterprises, laboratories, and specialized services, as well as in regulatory and supervisory bodies. They may become agricultural soil scientists, land valuation experts, specialists in developing agricultural technologies, or employees of agencies responsible for the use and protection of land resources—for example, within Rosselkhoznadzor or specialized departments of regional administrations.
