About the training program
Theoretical physics consists of identifying key physical concepts and formulating in mathematical language the laws of nature that link these concepts, explaining observed natural phenomena based on formulated laws of nature, as well as predicting new natural phenomena that may be discovered. Physics uses the creation of mathematical models of phenomena and their comparison with reality as the main method of understanding nature.
What do graduates do?
The graduate can apply the acquired knowledge in organizations related to solving physical problems, in educational institutions of various levels. Physicists work in research institutes and centers, in joint ventures, and in representative offices of foreign firms related to the use, maintenance, and sale of physical instruments. Many are in demand in research centers of large companies, both domestic and foreign, where the application of physical research methods and technologies is required – engineering-physical, biophysical, chemical-physical, medical-physical, environmental.
