About the training program
The program is aimed at studying a complex of scientific disciplines based on the reading and interpretation of the entire diversity of texts in ancient Greek and Latin, aiming not only to study these languages and literature but also the monuments that have preserved these texts, as well as those aspects of the culture and history of the ancient world that require philological analysis of sources. Students will gain knowledge in the field of linguistics (historical grammar, lexicology, dialectology), history of literature (metrics, stylistics, textology), paleography, epigraphy, and papyrology, as well as other antiquarian disciplines to the extent that they rely on text analysis.
