About the training program
The foundation of the specialty “Space Physics, Astronomy” is the theoretical and experimental study of processes and phenomena in outer space and on cosmic objects, with the aim of investigating the origin, motion, and evolution of celestial bodies on the basis of fundamental physical theories and astronomical observations. The essence of the program: in-depth theoretical and experimental training combined with independent research. The goal is to write and defend a PhD dissertation. The focus is on studying physical processes in space, the evolution of celestial bodies and media, solar–terrestrial interactions, space plasma, exoplanets, the large-scale structure of the Universe, and more.
