About the training program

The program is implemented within the direction 11.03.02 Infocommunication technologies and communication systems. The program is aimed at training specialists who are proficient in methods and algorithms for building infocommunication processes and objects. Students will learn to implement and operate innovative equipment of infocommunication systems and modernize existing ones, develop and design telecommunications networks of various levels, perform installation and configuration of electronic devices. They will also be able to create their own original software and hardware for providing access and information exchange.

What do graduates do?

Most disciplines are mastered under the guidance of practicing teachers from leading telecommunications companies in the Kaliningrad region — "Rostelecom," "MTS," and others. Practical classes are conducted based on modern infocommunication technology. After training, graduates are in demand in the labor market. Graduates become developers, designers, equipment operation engineers, specialists in network facility modernization, information protection, and so on. Graduates of the bachelor's degree will be able to continue their studies on specialized master's and then postgraduate programs at BFU named after I. Kant without leaving their jobs.
