The program trains research engineers in the development and production of medical devices for molecular diagnostics. Students master the full cycle of creating such products: from scientific research and characterization to validation, registration, and approval for medical use. A key feature is the partnership with the AlkorBio Group of Companies (a leading biotechnology holding in Northwestern Russia). Classes and practical training take place in the company’s laboratories. Master’s students study modern methods in depth: real-time PCR, isothermal amplification, sequencing, serological and immunochemical methods, and others.
