About the training program

Nuclear power plants consist of a large number of various equipment and this is not only a nuclear reactor, but also various heat exchange equipment. As part of the training, students study the principles and technologies related to the production and application of nuclear energy. The direction covers the theory and practice of working with nuclear reactors, management of nuclear plants, as well as ways to ensure safety and environmental protection.

What will they teach you?

  • Development of technological processes for the production of electrical and thermal energy at nuclear power plants.
  • Study of the fundamentals of safe operation of nuclear power plants in accordance with international recommendations.
  • Design of the main equipment of nuclear power plants, such as the nuclear reactor, steam generator, steam turbine, as well as various heat exchange equipment.

What do graduates do?

Specialists who graduate from the program become experts in the field of nuclear energy. They can work as nuclear engineers, theoretical physicists, specialists in the operation of nuclear facilities, safety consultants, and equipment developers for nuclear power plants: • design engineer • specialist in thermal energy of the reactor compartment • specialist in thermal energy of the nuclear power plant • design engineer
