About the training program

The training is aimed at forming specialists capable of developing, producing, and operating various machines and mechanisms. Within the direction, the programs "Machines and Technologies for Metal Pressure Processing," "Innovative Technologies for Electrophysical and Electrochemical Materials Processing Processes," "Intelligent Tribology in Mechanical Engineering," and "Virtual Prototyping Technologies in Mechanical Engineering" are being implemented. Students actively participate in laboratory work, practical projects, and production practices, which contributes to the acquisition of necessary practical skills in real conditions.

What will they teach you?

  • Optimize layout and use CAD systems for equipment design
  • Search for and select fundamentally new designs of machines and lines for processing metals and other materials by pressure
  • Implement new forging and stamping technological processes, use CAD to solve problems of technology and tooling design
  • Develop subsystems of CAD for technology and equipment
  • Design electrophysical and electrochemical processes using automated systems for technological preparation of machine production
  • Select equipment and tooling for electrophysical and electrochemical processes
  • Develop technical specifications for the design and manufacture of tooling for machines used in electrophysical and electrochemical processes
  • Perform technical and working design of forging and stamping machines
  • Design electrophysical and electrochemical processes using automated systems for technological preparation of machine production

What do graduates do?

The area of professional activity of graduates who have mastered the bachelor's program includes research, development, and technologies aimed at creating competitive mechanical engineering products and based on the application of modern methods and means of design, mathematical, physical, and computer modeling of technological processes; organization and execution of work on the creation, installation, commissioning, technical maintenance, operation, diagnostics, and repair of technological equipment of mechanical engineering productions, on the development of technological processes for the production of parts and units.
