About the training program

The postgraduate program "Radiophysics" is aimed at training highly qualified specialists capable of conducting fundamental and applied research in the fields of radiophysics, electronics, telecommunications, and related fields. The program provides a deep understanding of the physical principles of radio wave propagation, the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter, as well as modern methods of radio signal generation, processing, and transmission.

What will they teach you?

  • Study of fluctuations, noise, random processes, and fields in concentrated and distributed stochastic systems (statistical radiophysics)
  • Development of new methods for signal analysis and statistical processing in noisy environments
  • Establishment of statistical foundations for information transmission. Investigation of nonlinear dynamics, spatiotemporal chaos, and self-organization in nonequilibrium physical, biological, chemical
  • Development of scientific principles and methods for active and passive remote sensing of the environment, based on modern approaches to solving inverse problems
  • Establishment of statistical foundations for information transmission
  • Investigation of nonlinear dynamics, spatiotemporal chaos, and self-organization in nonequilibrium physical, biological, chemical, and economic systems
  • Development of physical foundations for new wave-based technologies for material modification and processing
  • Development of theoretical foundations for new communication methods and systems, navigation systems, and active and passive radar systems, based on the use of wave fields of various physical natures
