About the training program

The program prepares specialists in the application of modern digital technologies in the design and operation of hydraulic structures. Students master comprehensive methods of BIM modeling of hydraulic nodes, dams, canals, and port structures using specialized software. Special attention is given to hydrodynamic modeling, load and risk assessment, and design process automation. The program combines fundamental knowledge of hydraulics and hydrology with advanced digital design tools.

What will they teach you?

  • Assess the reliability and safety of hydraulic structures using digital technologies
  • Analyze geodetic and hydrological survey data in digital format
  • Coordinate project collaboration on digital platforms
  • Create digital models of hydraulic structures in specialized BIM environments
  • Perform hydrodynamic calculations and modeling using modern software systems
  • Automate design processes through parametric modeling
  • Apply digital twin technologies for structure monitoring

What do graduates do?

Graduates are in demand in design and construction organizations of the water management complex, research institutes, state structures engaged in water resources and hydraulic engineering. Professions: • BIM engineer in hydraulic engineering • Specialist in digital modeling of hydraulic structures • Hydraulic engineer with qualifications in digital design • Expert in monitoring and diagnostics of hydraulic structures
