About the training program
The master's program is aimed at acquiring knowledge in cattle breeding, selection, and genetics, taking into account modern scientific and technological advances. It addresses breeding work, including at large specialized dairy farms. Along with traditional breeding methods, the program studies genomic selection of cattle. During their training, master's students acquire competencies in developing promising breeding programs and in carrying out selection and mating at dairy farming enterprises, and gain up-to-date knowledge of dairy cattle production technology and the feeding specifics of high-yield cows.
