About the University
Welcome to GGNTU named after Acad. Millionshchikov! Initially, the university had technical specifics and trained specialists in the oil and gas industry. Today, the university offers training in 93 higher education programs. Special emphasis is placed on technical specialties - oil and gas, construction, energy, technological machines and equipment. The direction of information technologies also occupies a significant place. Also, personnel are being trained in the field of entrepreneurship. The technological and scientific center is the benchmark for the development of the university. The university has 6 scientific laboratories in the fields of subsoil use, construction, impulse technologies, and composites. The university is one of the participants in the scientific program "Advanced Engineering Schools." The university regularly hosts cultural and social events, and every Thursday we have live music performed by students! Currently, we have 170 students from more than 20 countries.
