Rules for settling in a dormitory
Required documents:
- Copy of the completed passport pages (pages containing any marks, stamps, or seals)
- 4 photos (size 3x4)
- Application form (issued at the dean's office of your faculty)
- If you are studying under a referral from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, a copy of the referral for study is required.
- Fluorogram (valid for no more than 11 months)
- Certificate of completion of safety instructions on the rules for safe use of gas in everyday life. Can be obtained at the place of residence. (required for dormitories No. 3, 4, 5, 7)
- Receipt for payment of accommodation and reimbursement of utility expenses.
Settlement conditions:
- Need for housing (determined by the length of study at DSTU) - for citizens of the Russian Federation
- If you are a foreign citizen (check-in is determined by the length of your studies and the length of your stay in the territory of the Russian Federation)

The DSTU student campus is one of the university’s largest structural divisions. The student campus comprises nine dormitories housing more than 5,000 students from 67 countries and 63 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as a registration office for dormitory residents and a facilities service.
