Admission as part of a general competition

Admission within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation for foreign citizens. The number of places is limited, selection is conducted on a competitive basis through Rossotrudnichestvo.

Admission to education under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation for the education of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation The selection takes place in two stages: The first stage takes place in a foreign country. The candidate for training undergoes registration and submits an application on the Education-in-Russia Superservice via the link https://education-in-russia.com (when filling out the questionnaire, they indicate 6 universities for training in order of priority). They pass the selection tests. Based on the results of the tests, a list of candidates is formed according to the allocated quota for the country. The candidate who has passed the tests is assigned a number and access to their personal account on the https://russia-edu.minobrnauki.gov.ru portal is opened, where they can track their status. The second stage of selection is conducted by the educational institution. The university reviews the dossiers of candidates in the Information System for the Formation and Distribution of Foreign Student Admissions Quotas on the https://russia-edu.minobrnauki.gov.ru portal within the established deadlines (a package of documents is reviewed: passport, education documents, etc., and the compliance of the received education with the requested level and profile is established). A satisfactory application is approved by the university, and the candidate is assigned to the educational institution that approved the candidate and is higher in priority for the candidate. The Ministry of Education and Science issues a Direction and a visa indication to the assigned candidate, information about which is placed in the candidate's dossier on the portal. After receiving the referral, the university enrolls the candidate for study.
