About the University

Moscow Aviation Institute (national research university) is a leading high-tech university in Russia, providing training for engineering personnel and conducting advanced world-class scientific research. MAI trains specialists in the fields of aviation engineering, rocket and space technology, engine engineering, IT technologies, robotics, energy, and new materials. The university trains foreign students from 9 CIS countries and 73 foreign countries. MAI actively updates and develops bachelor's and master's educational programs for foreign students in both Russian and English. More than 80% of MAI graduates work in their specialty and form the backbone of leading aerospace industry enterprises. Sports

All conditions for sports activities have been created at MAI. The sports facilities of MAI include the educational and sports complex "Nauka," five sports complexes, and a number of other facilities. Currently, about 35 sections and clubs in various sports are operating at MAI, where about 3,000 May residents are engaged.

In MAI, several modern student platforms have been created for independent work, communication, and networking. Workplaces include self-preparation zones, and some coworking centers include lecture halls and movie theaters, places with personal computers.
