The Career Development Center of SGU named after Pitirim Sorokin works to ensure that our students and graduates decide on their future: find temporary employment or permanent, interesting, and worthy work. We help to prepare a quality resume, prepare for an interview, and also conduct career days and excursions in the organization.
Employment assistance
The Career Center provides assistance in employment through individual consultations to build a career trajectory. Together with partners, unique educational programs are implemented, modern classrooms are created, and internship programs for students are implemented at enterprises. Assistance in employment is provided within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Republic of Komi. A major customer for targeted training is the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Komi. Partner enterprises are actively involved in career events of various formats – industry job fairs, career guidance meetings, enterprise presentations, meetings with employers, excursions to enterprises. More than 90% of graduates of Pitirim Sorokin State University are successfully employed not only in Russia but also abroad.
