About the training program
The “Digital Technologies in Geology and Oil and Gas Production” program trains IT specialists to drive the digital transformation of the oil and gas industry. Students master mathematical modeling methods in geology and oil production, geological and reservoir simulation technologies (Tempest, Schlumberger Petrel, Eclipse, t-Navigator, and others), and gain experience developing software products for the oil and gas industry and conducting research. Graduates are prepared to solve complex problems at the intersection of IT and the oil and gas sector through in-depth study of systems engineering, data analysis (Big Data and data mining), geoinformation technologies, and project management.
