About the training program
This educational program provides fundamental training in the physical sciences and applied technologies. The curriculum combines in-depth study of theoretical disciplines—mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics and statistical physics, quantum mechanics, optics, and condensed-matter physics—with mathematical tools (mathematical analysis, linear algebra, and methods of mathematical physics). A significant part of the program is devoted to practice-oriented work: students master methods of physical experimentation, learn to plan research, work with measuring equipment, process and analyze data, and apply computational
