About the training program

The curriculum includes fundamental disciplines: the history of domestic and foreign journalism, journalism theory, media economics, the legal and ethical foundations of the profession, and the sociology and psychology of mass communication. The practice-oriented block covers journalistic skills, editing, working with sources, and the genres and formats of media texts. Students master multimedia technologies—including photography and video production, editing, layout, the basics of web journalism, and working with social media. An important part of the training is practical experience in media outlets: television, radio, print and online publications, and press services. Students take part in creating editorial projects, learn to work in a team, and meet deadlines.
