About the training program
Students study ecology, geoecology, soil science, hydrology, environmental protection legislation, and master field and laboratory research methods, GIS technologies, and environmental assessment. Practical training takes place at natural sites in Chuvashia — in nature reserves, at water bodies, and in typical landscape zones — as well as in specialized organizations such as environmental protection agencies, design bureaus, and monitoring laboratories. During their practical training, students learn to collect water, soil, and air samples, conduct bioindication, process spatial data, prepare environmental impact assessment reports, and participate in developing environmental protection measures.
