About the training program
Students study linguistics (the fundamentals of phonetics, morphology, and syntax in both languages), as well as methods of teaching Russian and English, with a focus on developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Developmental psychology covers the developmental characteristics of schoolchildren and ways to motivate them. Pedagogy includes lesson design and methods of assessing knowledge. Digital technologies involve working with online platforms and interactive tools. In Russian, students master the norms of orthoepy, orthography, and stylistics; in English, they study grammar, vocabulary, and learners’ typical mistakes. Intercultural communication explores national characteristics and etiquette.
