About the training program
The Bachelor's degree program in Linguistics at Chuvash State University develops competencies in linguistics and intercultural communication. Students study language theory, phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, language history, stylistics, as well as foreign languages—primarily English and a second language of their choice. The program includes courses in translation, computational linguistics, methods of linguistic analysis, intercultural communication, and working with text corpora. Internships take place at translation agencies, IT companies, media organizations, and educational institutions.
