About the training program
The program trains researchers in linguistics. Students master the theoretical foundations of linguistics, methods for the comparative analysis of languages, and applied linguistics tools, including corpus technologies, machine translation, and lexicography. Particular attention is paid to the study of Chuvash and other languages from typological and contrastive perspectives. Postgraduate students conduct research, publish articles, and participate in conferences. The outcome is a dissertation on a topical linguistic problem and readiness for research and teaching careers.
