About the training program
The program prepares specialists to work in forensic medical examination bureaus and cooperate with law enforcement agencies. Residents master methods for examining crime scenes and bodies, forensic medical traumatology, toxicology, the examination of living persons, and the handling of physical evidence. The program includes practical training at forensic institutions, analysis of real cases, study of the legal and regulatory framework, and the rules for preparing expert reports. Graduates are able to conduct forensic medical examinations, determine the cause of death and the severity of bodily harm, and issue expert opinions suitable for use in legal proceedings.
