About the training program
The programme trains physicians to provide specialized surgical care to children. Residents master the principles of diagnosing and treating congenital anomalies, acute surgical conditions, and injuries in patients of different ages, and learn to perform surgical procedures taking into account the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the child’s body. The programme includes clinical practice in pediatric surgery departments, work in the operating room, clinical case discussions, and training in minimally invasive and endoscopic technologies. Graduates are prepared for independent practice, compliance with healthcare standards, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of specialists.
