About the training program
The program trains physicians to provide specialized psychiatric care. Residents master the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders in accordance with ICD‑11, the principles of psychopharmacotherapy, non-pharmacological methods (psychotherapy and psychosocial interventions), suicide risk assessment, and management of emergency conditions. The program includes clinical practice in psychiatric departments and neuropsychiatric dispensaries, case discussions, and the study of the regulatory and legal framework, medical ethics, and deontology. Graduates are able to develop treatment plans, work with a multidisciplinary team, conduct rehabilitation activities, and carry out preventive interventions.
