About the training program
The program trains physicians to diagnose and treat diseases of the respiratory system. Residents master examination methods (spirometry, pulse oximetry, bronchoscopy, chest CT), learn to interpret the results, and identify bronchial asthma, COPD, pneumonia, interstitial and occupational lung diseases, and tuberculosis. The program includes clinical practice in pulmonology and intensive care departments, analysis of acute conditions (respiratory failure, status asthmaticus), training in therapy and oxygen therapy protocols, and the principles of regular medical follow-up and rehabilitation.
