About the training program
The program trains specialists in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of tuberculosis. Residents master disease detection methods (tuberculin testing, IGRA tests, radiology, sputum microscopy and culture, and molecular genetic tests), study chemotherapy regimens, patient management strategies for drug-resistant forms, and the specific features of treatment for people living with HIV and for children. The program includes practical training in tuberculosis dispensaries and hospitals, clinical case reviews, and instruction in anti-epidemic measures, dispensary follow-up, and rehabilitation.
