About the training program
The program trains specialists in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases, injuries, and congenital anomalies of the maxillofacial region. Residents learn methods of radiological diagnosis (OPG, CT, CBCT), osteosynthesis techniques, soft-tissue plastic surgery, tooth and cyst removal, surgery for jaw fractures, and reconstructive and aesthetic procedures. The program includes clinical practice in maxillofacial surgery departments and inpatient dental units, simulation-based training, case discussions on combined trauma and suppurative-inflammatory conditions, and the study of principles of antibacterial therapy, anesthesia, and postoperative care.
