About the training program
The program trains specialists in surgical procedures of the oral cavity. Residents learn to perform tooth extractions (including impacted and ectopic teeth), periodontal tissue surgery, cystectomy, apicoectomy, bone grafting procedures, implant placement, flap surgery techniques, and the use of biomaterials. The program includes clinical practice in surgical dentistry departments, simulation-based training, analysis of complex cases (including complications and emergency care), and the study of the principles of anesthesia, antisepsis, antibiotic therapy, and postoperative management.
