The Rector

About the University
In the spring of 2029, the State University of Land Management will celebrate its 250th anniversary since its foundation. The State University of Land Management is one of the oldest universities in Russia and in the system of higher agrarian education, where centuries-old traditions of training personnel for the country's agro-industrial and land-property complexes harmoniously combine with advanced educational and scientific technologies. Graduates of the University are highly sought-after specialists in the labor market in the fields of land management and cadastral surveys, geodesy and spatial development, environmental protection and rational use of natural resources, law, economics, architecture, and construction. The results of the University's team's activities have received high praise from the state, as well as from the Russian and international educational community.

At GUZ, there are innovative laboratories "Geoquadro" and "Agroquadro," where students master the use of UAVs, spatial data, and digital technologies. Here, scientific research and practical training are conducted to improve the efficiency of land management and agricultural use.

The secondary vocational education institution is a center for training specialists capable of solving current tasks related to the sustainable development of rural territories, increasing their competitiveness, and improving the quality of life of the population.
Preparatory Faculty
The Preparatory Faculty provides pre-university training for foreign citizens for admission to higher education programs. The training is completed with exams in Russian language and relevant disciplines. Areas: economic, medical-biological, engineering-technical, humanitarian.
Educational geodetic polygons
Grounds for practical classes of students of the State University in land management, where future specialists in land management and geodesy practice skills in field measurements, working with geodetic instruments, conducting polygonometry, and solving geodetic problems.
Sports complex
The university has a developed infrastructure for sports activities, within which sports sections and teams operate.
