About the training program

This specialty focuses on the study of social processes and relationships at various levels of social organization, social phenomena, patterns of social development, and mechanisms of social change. Graduate students immerse themselves in theories that reveal the essence of these processes, as well as master the methods and tools for conducting scientific research, including the analysis and systematization of information, the development of models of the studied processes and the forecasting of social changes, work on the collection, processing, and analysis of data.

What do graduates do?

During the postgraduate study period, graduates work on their own research, culminating in the preparation of a dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Sociological Sciences. In the future, graduates can work in the following areas: • Research activities in academic and scientific institutions • Teaching sociological disciplines in higher educational institutions • Analytical work in state and commercial organizations engaged in social research and projects Consulting on issues of social policy, management, and development.
