About the training program
The program is designed to develop the skills required for successful work in today’s scientific environment, as well as the universal, general professional, and professional competencies needed for professional work as a chemist in research related to the use of chemical phenomena and processes.
The compulsory part of the program includes fundamental training in chemistry and active research work.
Studying on the program is a real opportunity to try your hand as a research chemist. The internships предусмотренные учебным планом are conducted at the research laboratories and centers of the United Institute of Chemical Research.
What do graduates do?
Chemistry graduates work in organizations and companies involved in the production, analysis, quality control, and sale of chemical products; in research institutes; in pharmaceutical companies and enterprises; as well as in the chemical engineering departments of plants and factories, and at chemical enterprises producing fertilizers, plastics, and synthetic fibers. They also work in enterprises in the food, perfumery, and pulp and paper industries, as well as in mining and processing and metallurgical plants. The knowledge they acquire can be applied in ecology, the agricultural sector, and the processing and certification of food and medicinal plants. In addition, a chemist with a bachelor's degree can teach at a school or college.
