The Employer Relations Center organizes job fairs, tours of enterprises, open lectures, practical seminars, and training sessions so that students and graduates can learn about job vacancies, internships, scholarship programs, competitive selection processes, salary levels, and the results of specialized social research.
Employment assistance
UrFU has agreements with several hundred Russian and international companies across various sectors of the economy, providing students and graduates with opportunities for internships and subsequent employment. UrFU’s partners include Sber, Alfa Bank, the Bank of Russia, Kontur, Sinara, UGMK, RMK, TMK, Gazprom, Rosatom, the Ural Civil Aviation Plant, the URAL Automobile Plant, and others. There are also agreements on training personnel for foreign enterprises in Kyrgyzstan (OJSC Kyrgyzindustriya, OJSC Kyrgyzaltyn, LLC Alliance Altyn), Uzbekistan (JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company), Mongolia (Erdenet Mining Corporation), Kazakhstan (JSC Kazakhstan Engineering), and at RUSAL’s representative office in Guinea.
UrFU provides free career guidance testing for fourth-year students, master’s students, and postgraduate students.
Where graduates work

Rosatom State Corporation
UrFU is a member of the Consortium of Key Universities of the Rosatom State Corporation and trains specialists for the nuclear industry.
UrFU students have the opportunity to undertake internships and work at enterprises of the Rosatom State Corporation.
Graduates hold positions as engineers, operators, and heads of the company’s divisions.

Sberbank of Russia PJSC
Sberbank participates in practice-oriented student training. In partnership, the following programs have been launched: “Applied Data Analysis”; the individual educational pathway “Information Systems Support Engineer.”
Graduates work as data analysts, IT specialists, and finance professionals.

RTSoft Group of Companies
«RTSoft» is an international engineering company specializing in industrial automation and software development for intelligent control systems. Internships and employment opportunities for UrFU students (software testers, programmers, relay protection and automation specialists, and industrial process control system specialists).

SKB Kontur
SKB Kontur is a group of companies engaged in developing software for businesses and investing in education, infrastructure, and the IT community. An agreement with UrFU provides for training IT specialists for high-tech sectors of the economy, as well as internships and named scholarships.

RUSAL Group
One of the world’s largest producers of aluminium and alumina. UrFU provides targeted training for the company’s plants in Russia and abroad, particularly in the Republic of Guinea.
