Rules for settling in a dormitory
Required documents:
- Passport
- Medical certificate (to obtain it, the student must undergo a medical examination at the UrFU Medical Unit, 59B Komsomolskaya St.)
- Medical insurance (VHI/CHI policy)
Settlement conditions:
- The candidate does not have a residential registration located at least 50 km from Yekaterinburg;
- Full-time study in educational programs other than those implemented exclusively through distance-learning technologies or e-learning.

Additional information
In 2023, UrFU opened the new world-class Novokoltsovsky campus as part of the federal World-Class Campuses programme. This standalone student town is equipped with the latest sports infrastructure facilities (a water sports palace, a stadium, outdoor fitness areas and indoor courts for team sports), a cultural and leisure area, modern classrooms and videoconferencing rooms, a 600-seat cafeteria, a mini-market, coffee shops and a medical centre. The campus is home to five apartment-style residence halls with a total capacity of 8,500 people. In addition, the new campus features a multifunctional community centre and an educational and research cyber range.
