About the training program
Teachers of the "Oil and Gas Well Drilling" program provide knowledge, skills, and abilities according to the requirements of modern high-tech production. The training is developed taking into account the professional standard "Drill Supervisor" and is aimed at training middle-level engineering and technical personnel capable of ensuring the execution, control, management of well construction and repair. About 1500 specialists have graduated over almost 40 years of the oil and gas well drilling department's existence. At Tomsk Polytechnic Institute, they know exactly how to prepare professionals for the oil and gas industry. The university ranks first in the QS oil and gas ranking among 150 Russian universities.
