About the training program
It is very important to study the rocks revealed by a well in order to understand what minerals lie at depth. Such research is taught to students in the specialty program "Geophysical Methods of Well Research." The program includes humanities, natural sciences, general professional, and specialized professional disciplines. The most important feature of the training is practical preparation in each course. After the first year, students undergo educational geodetic and geological practice at the university. And after the second year, they go to the unique training ground for geological practices at TPU in the Republic of Khakassia, where they perform geological and geophysical surveys.
