About the training program
The goal of the program is to prepare bachelors capable of successfully working in the field of theoretical and mathematical physics, capable of conducting fundamental and applied theoretical research, modeling complex physical, technical, and engineering systems, possessing general and subject-specific competencies. The main feature of the educational process is fundamental physical-mathematical and computer training, which allows mastering basic and specialized disciplines, basic methods of theoretical research and mathematical modeling.
What do graduates do?
Students undergo research and pre-diploma internships at leading Russian scientific centers of the State Corporation Rosatom and the Russian Academy of Sciences, such as the RFNC VNIIEF, RFNC VNIITF, RNC KI, N.L. Dukhov Research Institute of Automation, FIAN, ITEF, and others. Graduates are in demand at institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, research institutes, and scientific centers engaged in experimental and theoretical research in the fields of solid state physics, plasma, laser physics, combustion and explosion physics, astrophysics, and cosmology.
