About the training program
The program "History (Historical and Cultural Heritage: Text Study)" is focused on the in-depth study of historical sources, texts, and cultural heritage of Russia, with an emphasis on the Arctic and Yakutia. Students analyze ancient and modern texts (chronicles, archival documents, folklore), methods of source studies, interpretation of cultural artifacts, and the influence of historical traditions on modern society. The program combines philological, archaeological, and cultural approaches, including heritage digitization and regional studies (indigenous peoples of the North). The goal is to train specialists for the preservation and popularization of historical and cultural heritage.
