About the training program
The postgraduate program trains research scholars and highly qualified academic teaching staff in literary studies and textual scholarship. Postgraduate students study the history, theory, and poetics of Russian literature, as well as the traditional literary creativity and folklore of the peoples of Russia within a broad cultural context. The program complies with the Federal State Requirements (FGT) and provides in-depth training in modern methodologies of literary analysis, archival research, and comparative studies. It is designed to prepare students for independent research and teaching, the publication of academic articles, and the defense of a Candidate of Sciences dissertation.
