About the training program
The postgraduate program trains research scholars and highly qualified academic teaching staff in the fields of Russian studies, general linguistics, and contrastive linguistics. Postgraduate students study the system, structure, and history of the functioning of the Russian language, as well as the linguistic diversity, grammatical structure, and dialectology of the languages of the peoples of Russia. The program complies with the Federal State Requirements (FGT) and provides in-depth training in modern linguistic theories, field research methods, textual studies, and sociolinguistics. It is designed to prepare students for independent research and teaching, the publication of academic articles, and the defense of a Candidate of Sciences dissertation.
