About the training program
The postgraduate program trains research scholars and highly qualified academic and teaching staff in the fields of Russian history, historiography, and source studies. Postgraduate students study the key stages of the country’s development, the evolution of state institutions, socio-economic processes, and the specific features of regional history in different historical periods. The program complies with the Federal State Requirements (ФГТ) and provides in-depth training in modern methodologies of historical analysis, archival research, and methods of working with primary sources. It is aimed at preparing students for independent research and teaching, writing academic articles, and defending a Candidate of Sciences dissertation.
