About the training program
The postgraduate program trains research scholars and highly qualified academic and teaching staff in the fields of world history, historiography, and source studies. Postgraduate students study the patterns of the global historical process, the development of foreign civilizations, and the evolution of political systems and international relations in different historical periods. The program complies with the Federal State Requirements (ФГТ) and provides in-depth training in modern methodologies of historical analysis, archival research, and comparative historical studies. It is designed to prepare students for independent research and teaching, the publication of scholarly articles, and the defense of a Candidate of Sciences dissertation.
