International students study in more than 100 educational programs. The most popular fields of study are General Medicine, including programs taught in English, Veterinary Medicine, Agronomy, Biology, Education, Philology, Power Engineering, and Thermal Engineering.
Employment assistance
The university’s strategic partners involved in student training include the domestic innovative biopharmaceutical company Promomed and Talina, one of Russia’s largest agricultural holdings.
To provide practical training, the university has established 21 affiliated departments at leading enterprises in Saransk across various sectors of the economy:
- PJSC Electrovypryamitel;
- Technopark of the Republic of Mordovia;
- JSC Saransk Television Plant;
- JSC Optical Fiber Systems;
- JSC Ruzkhimmash; and others.

In addition, international students travel to their home countries to undertake practical training at medical institutions. Currently, more than 20 agreements have been concluded between MSU and foreign medical institutions.

Graduates of Moscow State University work at the most prestigious hospitals in their countries: Apollo Multi Specialist Hospital, Manipal Hospital, RML, Safdarjung Hospitals (India), Salam International Hospital (Egypt), Baghdad Medical City (Iraq), and the Multidisciplinary Hospital of Arkadag (Turkmenistan).
