About the University
The Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygin (Technology. Design. Art.) is a unique multidisciplinary research and educational complex with more than 11,000 students, including over 1,000 international students from 81 countries around the world. Since 1920, it has been a leader in training professionals for the light and textile industries and the creative economy, including design, fashion, economics, management, art, media communications, advertising, and cultural and digital technologies. The structure of Kosygin University includes a gymnasium, college, 12 institutes, master’s and doctoral programs, assistantship-internship programs, and 2 branches in Novosibirsk and Tver. Its convenient infrastructure includes 4 campuses in Moscow’s central districts, 5 dormitories, a sports complex, and a student recreation camp in a picturesque location on Lake Seliger. Highly qualified academic staff provide more than 250 educational programs at all levels.

Main building
The main building of Kosygin Russian State University (1 Malaya Kaluzhskaya St.) is an 8-storey building with 3 large lecture halls and a separate assembly hall. The entire campus comprises 8 academic buildings, a library, a gym, and an Engineering IT Centre.
Engineering Center/Technopark
Kosygin Park brings together 3 thematic clusters — “Fashion 4.0,” IT technologies, and “Clean World” — with 11 laboratories. Here, schoolchildren and students learn digital design, VR/AR, robotics, and environmentally friendly technologies. The engineering center supports the implementation of student projects.

Institute of Design
The Institute of Design is a five-story Constructivist building with a distinctive rounded corner volume near Ustinsky Bridge. It houses a library, cafeteria, classrooms, and laboratories, with controlled access. Since 1996, it has trained designers in eight fields.

Institute of Slavic Culture
The Institute of Slavic Culture is a four-story building that became part of the university in 2014. It has a ramp for people with reduced mobility, departments of linguistics, art studies, and philology, as well as a separate choreographic hall called “Akimovsky.”
